
Yet again, Kailash Helicopter and Maurizio Folini have succeeded in carrying out the highest and toughest ever helicopter rescue on Everest. Despite the difficulty to fly in thin air at such a high altitude, renowned Italian Pilot Maurizio Folini took the command of AS 350 B3e to rescue a Chinese climber, Xia Boyu and Indian climber. Xia Boyu had both lower legs amputated after getting frostbite on the mountain in 1975, but never gave up his dream of scaling the world’s highest peak finally succeeded to conquer the summit.
